dear dawn

good morning, dear.
and I call you dear, for I know no otherness
than the dear way you take me.

so, good morning, Dear.
i saw your peaked, bright head
and the mass of tangle curls poke from the corner.
your chocolate milk eyes said sweetly
that you were coming to me shortly.
but I had to wait,
for a moment, and then you'd join me.

so i sat, mulling my coffee cup in my hands,
and the way we held each other in my head.
i smelled the sweet dryness of your skin
and the tickled sense of caffeine.
i held your weight in my arms
and the importance of you in my chest
i waited to see it all again.
to see you again.
in any moment.
around the corner.
soon.
you'd be there.
soon.
there.
right there.
taking the waiting side for you.
waiting.
so soon enough.
there.
right soon enough, there you'd be.
soon.
--where are you???

Dear, the cup is still hot and soon the sun will see me
and I am afraid you will see all of me
and you wont come bounding around the corner again.
Dear, the sun is peaking, the same you peaked just a shortly ago.
i wait to see all of you and the sun. One moment more may....

Dear.
I have coffee.
Please.
Come here and watch this dear dawn break
and start this with me.

Forever

I want to show you what I’ve been doing inside of this flower that I found in the park next to a dog who looked like he had nowhere in particular to be.  I want to take you where I’ve been exploring.  Nearby was a field of green grass and the wind was blowing and the sun was bright and the sky was common.  I want to share the energy and all the fun inside; inside of this flower.  The cars drove by on the nearby highway and a plane flew overhead carrying a family to their grandmother in Cleveland and there were rabbits wondering what I was doing.  I built a world there inside and it is for you and all I want is for you to see it.  All I want is for you to experience the breeze and the silence and read over my shoulder and cook me grilled cheese sandwiches and help me put lemon in tea.  I want you to come and be my flower because it exists for you.  You are already a part of it.  It waits as I wait… for you.  Inside of this flower, is for you.  You only need but to step inside and all that is, will be forever.  All that is, will be forever.  All that is, will be.

Inside

Swim, young man
I am inside your tank

Do you smell me
Are you on me
You can't see me
Do you fear me

Protect Yourself Love Psychedelic

Colors are you
Sneaky are you
Dancing are you
Sure you want to

Swim, young man
I am inside your tank
