this is a cloud
was a sunrise
will tomorrow be a reprise
but we do our best
first there was a seed
then a conversation
next was water and light
followed by connection
it's black
it's white
it's-dub-ah-you-beep-beep-yeah-yeah-yeah
i never could understand what Michael was saying
this is a fairy tale for a child from childhood
this is a kick the can pail from my old neighborhood
this is a sky
was a sunset
will tomorrow not have happened yet
